Makers had used HubSpot across their teams for several years. Over time, their CRM became complicated and disjointed, leading to inconsistent data, low team engagement, and no clear way to separate B2B from B2C activities. Since they serve both bootcamp applicants and hiring partners, they needed HubSpot to seamlessly support both sides of their business across the full lifecycle from initial brand awareness through to customer success.

Engagement Overview

We began with a paid scoping project to audit their portal, understand sales, marketing and customer success workflows, revenue model, pain-points and goals. Armed with this information, we prepared a comprehensive optimisation plan of action which featured a newly designed and structured data model aligned with both core revenue streams.

Following the scoping, Growth London delivered a comprehensive 4-month optimisation project, including:

  • Full redesign of their data model: Custom objects, lifecycle stages, contact and company types, and segmentation for B2B/B2C audiences
  • Setup of Sales Hub’s new Lead Object and restructuring of pipelines
  • Advanced marketing automation, subscription type configuration, and GDPR compliance
  • Improved reporting and forecasting dashboards for sales and marketing
  • Re-onboarding and training for the sales team
  • Migration and rebuild of the Makers website on HubSpot CMS (Note: 12 additional consulting days to rebuild and launch the website from scratch - not included in the initial optimisation project)
